We aim to run at least two camps over the year and plan to experiment with the format to encompass both the traditional camp mixed with either a water element or other elements to ensure that camps are challenging and enjoyable.

A few weeks before the camp you will receive a ‘Parents Information’ letter that will provide all the arrangements for that camp and a detailed kit list.  You can take a look at this FAQs document that sets out some of our standard conditions and provides a generic kit list. However, when packing for any camp you MUST refer to the list for that camp as it may differ.

Our 2025 Camp is a water based camp on board a narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal at the start of August. For this camp the Explorers will helm, navigate locks and route plan themeselves as well as be responsible for the majority of the on board cooking etc.

Weekend and overnights

We also run a number of single overnight camps, often departing on the Friday night directly after schools finish and returning late evening on the Saturday. Our 2026 Winter Fire and Ice camp which will be under canvas is in planned for February.
